Fun fact: according to Google the average slice of rhubarb pie is 300 to 400 calories per serving. Think of all the pie that you could sample as you pedal your way across the Iowa, seeing the small towns on in our club, 50 years strong.

For those of you who do not subscribe to special biking software, here are the route maps that can be easily stored on your phone. We like to carry these on the route as they're easily accessible in your phone's picture gallery. Looking forward to celebrating our club's 50th anniversary ride on RAGBRAI LIIl July 18-25, 2026

A few of us, had a nice causal ride to the American Legion Redfield Iowa for a wonderful breakfast. It's an easy way to prep those legs for RAGBRAI LIIl July 18-25, 2026

A few of us are meeting tomorrow morning, Saturday 7am, for our annual breakfast training ride to Redfield IA, to the VA for a wonderful breakfast. 34 miles round trip...meet here and get those legs prepped for RAGBRAI LIIl July 18-25, 2026

It's T-minus 35 days until we begin our 50th anniversary of riding RAGBRAI! If eating pie, meeting new friends, seeing the Field of Dreams, sharing stories at the end of the day is on your bucket list, then join us for RAGBRAI LIIl July 18-25, 2026 . We have a few slots left in the club, have 50 years of logistics experience and smiles to share. Warning...you might want to join us again next year. 😀

Team Sprint will have one of these at every overnight this year!
We may not get much biking done this year…

Public service announcement, Sprint Selzer Bicycle Club, we are T-minus 60 days until RAGBRAI LIIl July 18-25, 2026! If you are late in training or weather not cooperating, join the early birds at the Genesis Health Clubs for the Wednesdays, 5:30 a.m. spin class.

Also, we still have a couple slots open in the club, for this year's ride.

At Hickman Road, we offer a variety of workout options to target your fitness needs. This location has 100+ pieces of cardio equipment, amazing weightlifting machines, 12 indoor & outdoor tennis courts, basketball, top-notch Group Fitness classes, & more!

Sad news. I just heard that Scott Williams (Ursula's husband) passed away yesterday. I think this was part of the 2006 SSBC group picture before RAGBRAI that year. Scott is in the blue shirt in the front. What a great guy. Happy Trails, Scott!

Here is the updated design that is being worked on for the 50th Anniversary celebration and, I believe, for the ride also. If a tech design is desired for biking, it may be a little different shirt color.
