My first look at Rochester’s 2026 football talent fresh off the program’s first ever loss in a state title game. A lot of people told me to take the day off coming off an incredible night at the awards show but the opportunity to see these Rockets was too good to pass up against some great competition. Winding down from another amazing event celebrating the best athletes, coaches, teams and communities in central Illinois at the 5th annual Channel1450 awards show and I wanted to share a few numbers I talked about on the press box with Darin & Tim before the show.
They asked about our numbers this 2025-2026 school year. The numbers speak to the amazing sponsors we have but don’t tell the whole story on the impact Channel1450 has on central IL.
