Garst Mill Park pickleball court lights will not operate tonight, Tuesday, June 13 as AEP is replacing a pole and lines that feed electricity to the park. There is no estimated time for repairs. Visit RoanokeCountyParks.com for updates.
As of Friday, November 13th, Garst Mill Park is open and clean up efforts are ongoing. The park was closed on Thursday, November 12th due to flooding.
Due to flooding in the area, Garst Mill Park is CLOSED Thursday, November 12th. Park conditions will be monitored to determine when the park will reopen. Stay tuned for updates.
UPDATE: Portions of Roanoke County's Garst Mill Park have been re-opened after recent flooding caused significant damage to the facility. The main parking area is open again, providing access to the greenway. However, many park amenities are still closed while crews work to clean up debris and assess overall safety. Stay tuned for additional updates as we work to restore the park over the coming weeks.
PLEASE NOTE: Garst Mill Park and the Greenway within the park are currently closed do to flooding from this weekend's rain. Updates will be provided as we continue to assess the extent of the damage.
