CONGRATS to our , one of our veteran students who competed in the US Nationals in Roanoke, VA this past week. Bryce placed a solid and respectable 2nd place in XCM (15-16 Men) with 40+ miles of racing!!

If that was not enough, Bryce also raced XCO on Sunday which is a 90-ish minute race. An unfortunate flat on the last lap took him out of the race…

WOW, just WOW!!! A Wilkes County cyclist standing on National podiums! Keep up the work Bryce!

Super proud of our students and coaches this season. Many students advanced in placement even thou they were in tougher categories. Some students doubled their Teen Trail Corp stewardship hours over last year by clearing drains, trimming the corridor on new trails or packing trail tread. Our coaches stepped up big all season long with their volunteer efforts at each event weekend.

Busy event weekends started last weekend at in Danville, VA. Longer and more technical sections of trail tested our students. A few start line hole shots, a few trail scars and unfortunately an ER trip for a hand injury. Even after the longer lap times with a harder course our team is looking forward to our return to Danville in May. Be praying for us as we head to Mayodan this weekend.

Our 2025 season has started off great!!! All of our students participated in the Salisbury Star Road Showdown this past weekend. Despite starting each middle school category with a start line crash, we only had one student with carnage!! Several top twenty five placements, a 7th place and two 4th place finishes.
