I spotted our LLG crew hanging out on the hill together awaiting our bracket game! Not the ending the team wanted … but anytime you go into ITB that’s just good softball. Lessons learned and knowledge gained will help improve that softball IQ and plan practices. We will take the next two weeks to work on cleaning up a few things and prepare for our last 10u tournament on Aug 8th-9th in Covington before moving up to 12u! Let’s go LLG!

Update on Mid Alantic Regional Tournament = Rained Out
We will never know the outcome but these girls put in the work over the last 4 days! We lost the first game on Sunday which sent our crew to the losers bracket and from there we were on our 3rd back to back game and the rain came in.

Drew 45 walks
Scored 95 runs

We played and won 2x against a team with over 40 wins this season

LLG finished pool play 8-0 highlighted by a 3-2 come from behind win. The team tallied up 61 hits and drew 40 walks. The Gold double elimination bracket starts tomorrow at 8am!

Update on Mid Alantic Championship 10GG
After 2 days LLG is at the #1 spot with a record of 6-0. The team has put an impressive 61 runs on the board and only allowed 3 runs in 2 days of play! We pounded out 45 hits and collected 35 walks. Still 1 more day of pool play left and we will update our bracket status tomorrow night!

Out of 103 AB 75 of them have been QABs
We have a .995 team fielding percentage
Our pitching staff has a combined .610 ERA

The team is excited to be back in Roanoke for the next 4 days competing with teams from New York, Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia and etc at the Mid Atlantic Championship! The fun starts Thursday! Lets Go LLG!
