Creatine is a very important supplement that women should consider taking.

Creatine supports a womans body, brain and hormonal health. It increases lean muscle mass and accelerates recovery. Helps reduce cellular inflammation and muscle damage following a workout which leads to less muscle soreness.
It is also great for cognitive performance and brain health. Recent studies demonstrated modest but meaningful improvements in memory and processing speed. Creatine also helps with stress and reduces mental fatigue. It also helps with bone density and osteoporosis prevention. Its helps slow bone loss.
If you have been on the fence about this supplement give it a try. A dailey dose of 5 grams is sufficient for most women.

💪 MEMBER OF THE MONTH — KEITH POFF! 💪

We're proud to recognize Keith Poff, owner and head chef of the locally famous Dogwood Restaurant, as our Member of the Month!

Keith's consistency and hard work in the gym have produced some outstanding results:

🏋️ Bench press: 165 → 210 lbs
💪 Body fat: under 20%
👖 Lost enough inches that a belt is now mandatory!

But Keith's progress goes well beyond numbers in the gym. At his most recent physical, he showed significant improvement in his blood markers, and his training has helped him greatly reduce the back, knee, and elbow pain that previously bothered him.

Keith is a great example of what consistent training can accomplish — getting stronger, getting leaner, improving your health, and simply feeling better.

Congratulations, Keith! Your hard work has paid off, and we're proud to have you as part of our gym family!

Drink your water..

Water is the single most critical catalyst for muscle performance, fat metabolism and exercise recovery. Because muscle tissue is approximately 75% water even mild dehydration directly impairs your strength, endurance and healing capacity. Water drives protein synthesis for muscle growth and repair . Water also flushes out metabolic waste. Water transports toxins out of the muscles reducing delayed soreness. Water also lubricates joints and cartilage preventing wear, tear and inflammation associated with heavy lifting.

I have had people at the gym ask me for a couple Ab exercises that work. They are usually not happy with their mid section and want to see immediate results in that area. My response is usually the same. I always say Abs are not built in the gym they are built in the kitchen. You can not out train a bad diet. You cant eat a bunch of s**t and follow it up with cardio and some situps and expect to see a flat stomach. You have to make healthier choices and get your protein in and cut back on carbs and you have to burn more calories than you consume. You need small frequent high protein meals through out your day and get your water in. Small changes create big results. If you want a stomach like this guy or girl in these pictures then you have to make good choices with your meals and do your cardio. When you are willing to do all 3 phases thats when you see the real results.

Have to brag about my training client M.L. Cherry II ..He has been training with me for 9 months and has made some tremendous strides. He has lost 63 pounds but at the same time put on a ton of muscle and increased his strength. He has accomplished this by not missing any workouts and following a proper diet. He has also put in time on the treadmill on his on. So it goes to prove if you want results you have to drop all of the excuses and just be willing to put in the work. It takes a combo of weight and strength training, Diet and cardio. This man works 3 jobs and never has any excuses.
