DUI, Consensual s*x with minor, drug possession, theft of a firearm, possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, distributing of drugs… these are all crimes I’ve defended that resulted in a sentence GREATER than this cop who killed a man for trying to run. I love the Police, but if they “take it all” by killing someone, they deserve more than 16 months.

I’m not a civil attorney, but my guess is if the jails refuse to bring Defendants to their criminal hearings, and refuse to allow them access to courts via video, there will be lawsuits galore. Furthermore, if I was sitting on a jury where a person was deprived of liberty for one day as a result of these “policies”, I would award graciously.
