Today I pushed myself with a killer leg day and ab workout that felt AMAZING. I love when I have an extra boost of energy to really challenge myself. I didn’t do cardio today, other than my 10 minute warmup on the stair master because I’ve been doing 2 or 3 quick hiit workouts a week lately and don’t want to do too much cardio.
Today felt strong, and I hope you all feel strong too because you all are! 💛

I have been feeling so much stronger lately. I have been increasing my cardio with sprint intervals to improve my endurance and burn more calories, and I’ve been training my core more than I typically do (I stopped for a good while for no reason) and it all has been making me feel like a BEAST! The most important thing about fitness is doing what makes you happy and makes you feel strong. That’s the whole point of it all, in my opinion! No point doing something you hate just to see results. I’m so glad that I have finally gotten to this point again where I have more energy and strength. Now I just need to start doing yoga once a week again, starting this Friday morning! I hope everyone feels strong, confident and happy today — whatever it is that makes you feel that way.

I feel so silly for doing this. I posted this on my new fitness account, but recently decided I just don’t like having two separate accounts. So here I am resharing this message... Posed vs Unposed:
This was on my way to walk Brinkley and head to the gym. I just wanted to start off by posting about transparency. I’m going to try to be very real and honest on here. There are so many fitness accounts on this platform, it’s very easy to get the impression that everyone out there looks perfect, eats perfect and is always motivated and in a positive mood. What I’ve truly appreciated as a “follower” of people like and is their openness about being unmotivated, stressed and dealing with life’s everyday ups and downs. Your motivation in fitness and in life generally is not a straight line. Nothing in life is. You just have to listen to your body, mind and soul and do what your heart needs. If that means taking a rest day to go out and socialize with friends or family, or taking a long bubble bath and putting on a face mask—do it! Just love and be patient with yourself during this process and you’ll be okay. 💛 I’m wearing my favorite leggings from the original Energy Seamless collection in khaki (more like army green but you know 😏) and my cropped sweatshirt from ’s .peachy! 😍 Both are in size small.

My me-time.
I really didn’t want to be here today. I haven’t been to the gym since Tuesday because I have worked all day Wednesday through today at the vet clinic that I work at and my body needed the rest. I didn’t want to come here today, but I got here knowing that it may make me feel better, and I already feel better than I did before I got here. It’s so very important to listen to your body and to get the rest you need, but it’s also okay to make yourself come to the gym when you don’t feel the motivation because motivation is always going to be up and down. You just have to listen to your body and do what you feel is right for you. 😊 Happy Friday everyone!

I’m not sure everyone follows their workouts with foam rolling, but I HIGHLY recommend it!!! I seem to get very tight hips, abductor muscles and IT bands, so doing this is essential for me in preventing pain and tightness. Some people say they don’t have time for it, but I strongly encourage you make the time for it. It’s just as important as stretching in my opinion. 😊 I hope this is a helpful tip! Give it a go and feel the difference!! 💛 @ Crunch Fitness
