Big Lick CrossFit is located in historic Bonsack in Roanoke County right on the edge of the Botetourt County line. Because while others are saying “I can’t do that”, she’s still building strength, confidence, and capacity.

The goal isn’t to be the strongest person in the room.

The goal is to still be doing things most people think they can’t do.

Consistency isn’t always convenient.

Some days you have to choose the workout over the extra hour of sleep.
The walk over the couch.
The long-term goal over the short-term comfort.

Being consistent means making your health a priority, even when life gives you plenty of reasons not to.

You won’t always feel motivated. You won’t always have time. But if you keep showing up, the results will come.

The people who make the most progress aren’t the most motivated. They’re the most consistent. 💪🏼💪🏾🧡💙

Move well first. Move fast later.

Perfect form isn’t about looking good, it’s about building strength that lasts.

Every rep is practice. Practice good movement long enough, and strength follows. Practice shortcuts long enough, and so do injuries.

Consistency isn’t just showing up. It’s showing up and doing the basics well, over and over again.

Good movement today creates a stronger tomorrow. 💪🏾💪🏼

Scaling isn’t taking the easy way out. It’s taking the smart way forward.

The goal of every workout is to get the intended stimulus, move well, and leave a little fitter than when you walked in.

Too often people see scaling as a step backward.

It’s not.

It’s the bridge between where you are and where you want to be.

The smartest athletes scale workouts.

Check your ego at the door. Train with intention. Progress happens when the workout matches the athlete, not when the athlete tries to force the workout.

Scaling is smart. Consistency is king. 💪🏼💪🏾💙
