Probably Roanoke's biggest pain in the rear...
We did have the pleasure of having him actually play for us towards the end of his career. Now he is the head coach of the ECHL Norfolk Admirals.

Mr Dan Ryder...He was the first ever goalie in Express history. Known for his quality netminding and that great hair!!!

Too bad he was only with Roanoke for two seasons. He went on to become one of the assistant coaches for the Detroit Red Wings from 2015 - 2019, and currently serves as head coach of his alma mater, the Western Michigan Broncos.
