When 55th annual Waterfowl Festival with Delmarva Dockdogs registration opens at 8am and you also have to leave for United Dock Diving Year End Finals at 8am, you are 100% loaded up with the engine running in your driveway, slamming "pay" and rolling out 🤣

The problems you encounter when you jump in 4 different leagues 😂

Look who was a local super star today!

Ellie's Aunt Teresa Hastings (also good friend and dock clubmate!) happened to catch a segment on a show local to her in Maryland about the upcoming Delmarva DockDogs event in Rehoboth Beach in October! It is part of a Brandywine Valley SPCA annual festival and they chose this photo of Ellie to use on the air during the segment!

This photo is older (I suspect 2019) and brings me mixed emotions, as Ellie Mae is now 13 years old and retired from competitive jumping 💜 she still loves to come to events, and when time allows, to go down the ramp in her life jacket for a swim ☺️

🌟 Invites! 🌟

Sabrina Grace earned invites in Super Fly (senior) and Raider Run (pro) to the Super Retriever Series Crown Championship in October!

Unfortunately, we cannot attend. It is in Louisiana, I can't take that time off of work, AND we are booked solid with dogsports already through November 😂 she will be barnhunting and taking her Advanced Fetch Test that weekend.

Labor Day weekend, we returned to Catskill Mountain K9 Sports to compete in our first ever Super Retriever Series event! (Dock league #4 ✅️) SRS events are recognized by United Kennel Club , so we are now racking up points with them!

We had an absolute BLAST!

We cannot thank Team LabraScream and Team UntamedSpirits enough for their generosity and hospitality! We feel so welcome and have such a great time with y'all!

💜 Ellie Mae did her duty to make sure the pool was the proper length and taste test the water with her daily old lady laps in between splashes. She is so happy to just come along and hang out these days.

💖 Sabrina Grace had a great weekend topside. Since this was our first SRS event, she came away with personal bests in both disciplines. She placed 3rd senior in Super Fly (distance) and 1st Pro in Raider Run (speed)!! This event happened to be a qualifier for the SRS Crown Championship, which means she will earn 2 invites! We would LOVE to go, however cannot make the trip to Louisiana in October... we are booked solid with dogsports through November!

We met a lot of new teams and were so happy to spend time with friends from Green Mountain Dockdogs as well! It was great to spend the days together and share a couple of good dinners. We also were invited to stay at Team LabraScream headquarters for the weekend again!

We look forward to future trips to the mountains!

Still in complete shock over the sudden passing of our buddy, Porter, from P-squared Labs 🌈

I don't even know what to say....I cannot imagine the pain that comes with this situation. Amanda, Dave, Jacob, Logan and Tyler please know we are sending you all our love and you have not left our minds. PB Porter was so very loved by so many 🧡

We LOVE Dajio Restaurant on Ocracoke!
We try to make the trek down from Nags Head for dinner each year, but didn't make it last year.

So this was Sabrina Grace's first ferry ride and Dajio dinner! She and Ellie Mae give the chicken tenders and water bowls 4 paws up! (Handler greatly enjoyed Tuna Tostada and Key Lime Pie!)

Thanks for the dog friendly patio (especially the tower fans for our old lady!), great food and great service! So glad we stumbled across this place years ago!
