The Utica High School Cheer Team hosted its second annual Glowball fundraiser at Hampton Golf Club. Head Coach Kenzie Abbate welcomed over 40 golfers on a perfect night as the golfers all had a fantastic experience and the Cheer Team raised money for new uniforms and other supplies!

Hampton Golf Club would like to congratulate Bruce Moorhouse on scoring a hole-in-one on the 156 yard, par 3 fifth hole. The eagle shot was fired while playing in our Monday morning Men's Senior League. Congrats again on the stellar shot Bruce!!

Hampton Golf Club would like to congratulate Sophie Gall of Macomb on scoring her first ever hole-in-one Friday!! Sophie aces the 146 yard sixth hole and her incredible shot was witnessed by Phil Hemke of Rochester Hills. Congratulations again Sophie on the awesome achievement!!

Hampton Golf Club celebrated another successful glowball event with the sold out 2026 Summer 5-person Friday night. We had over 80 golfers competing on a beautiful hot and humid summer evening! The winners are featured below:

Champions of the 2026 Summer Glowball Tournament are (from left) Luddy, Ryan, Danny, Michelle, and Dane. They shot an impressive 6-under par 27... in the dark!!!

Alex Oaks scored her first ever hole-in-one on the 91-yard first hole at Hampton Friday morning! Playing in the first tee time of the day (5:54 a.m.) Alex used her trusty gap wedge to score her ace. The eagle helped her record an impressive score of 39 for the round and was witnessed by fellow early-risers Violet Lehtinen, Sarah-Jayne Lehtinen, and Carly Ryquist!! Now that is how you kick off a holiday weekend!! Congratulations and great job Alex!!
