Summer isn’t a break from progress, it’s your chance to get ahead. Off-season training is where athletes build the foundation that carries them through the competitive season. Here’s why weight training and cardio are essential:
1. Build Strength and Power
Weight training improves muscular strength, explosiveness, and stability and key for speed, agility, and injury prevention. The off-season is the best time to focus on heavier lifting without the pressure of games or practices.
2. Enhance Endurance and Conditioning
Cardio keeps your heart and lungs strong, boosts recovery, and improves stamina. Whether it’s sprint intervals or steady-state runs, cardio ensures you show up to preseason in peak shape& not playing catch-up.
3. Injury Prevention
A strong, balanced body is less prone to injury. Weight training strengthens tendons, joints, and stabilizer muscles. Conditioning improves circulation and speeds up recovery.
4. Mental Toughness and Discipline

Which Protein has the most Nutrients ?
Liver: Highly concentrated in iron, Zinc, essential Amino Acids , folic acid, vitamin A, and B vitamins.
Beef: Rich in iron, zinc, vitamin B12, and protein. Lean cuts like sirloin and flank steak are the BEST.
Chicken: Lean protein, vitamin B6, and selenium.
Turkey: Similar to chicken, but with slightly more omega-3 fatty acids.
Salmon: Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, and selenium.

Hello my VICI family!! I want everyone to know I am down 51pounds and feeling great!!! I want to thank our leader Joelle Delgatti for giving me a simple but effective meal plan to keep me satisfied and feeling amazing! I’m exercising more on my own and making better choices so I can live a healthy long life. Blood work and blood pressure numbers are fantastic, best numbers in years!
If I can do it anyone can do it with the right mindset! Thank you for all your support!!!
