A brief recap from mid-o:

While being an improvement from the NHMS experience, the weekend was far from our best finish.

The good: the 601 was running in the top ten Saturday morning. 600 Saturn ran strong all day Saturday with minimal issues. A strong race from a driving perspective, with very little drama. The Saturn is showing promise with fastest lap times only a couple of seconds off of the bmw.

The bad: the 601 suffered a catastrophic coolant hose failure which resulted in an unrecoverable blown head gasket.

The 600 threw a belt on Sunday resulting in another blown head gasket.

Back to the shop to wire up some warning lights and rebuild some cylinder heads.
