Dreams in Motion Studio of Dance

From August 17th to the 21st, our dancers took on the ELEVATE Intensive Camp, and they earned every bit of that title.

They were pushed past their comfort zones and challenged at every turn. Some stepped onto the floor nervous and walked out as champions. Our seasoned dancers rose to the occasion, leading with the skill and poise that make them true royalty in the studio.

For a few of our dancers, this marked their final teen intensive as high schoolers. We could not be more grateful for the leadership, dedication, and heart they brought into the room every single day.

Before the new season takes off with full rehearsals and recital prep, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate this crew. They put in the work, backed each other up, and survived.

Our Tiny and Mini classes were light today, but that is completely fine. Meanwhile, our Tween group was in full swing with Tap and Jazz earlier, followed by some great work in Ballet as shown in today’s photos.

The first day of Season 6 continues! We’re thrilled to welcome both familiar faces and new dancers into the studio today for our Predancers class!

Thursday was our first day of Season 6! The energy was positive, the smiles were huge, and we kicked it off on a great start with a lot of new faces!

Let’s look back on some of the exciting moment with Junior Ballet class posing in front of the frame, Teen Musical Theater in one room with Junior/Tween Hip Hip in the other room, both warming up for the class.

Season 6 is bringing in something fierce, and it’s going to start with these kids here. Are you ready for a new dance season? We sure are!

This past saturday the DMSD family got together for our last Season 5 Family Event, and boy did we make the best of it! Sunshine, lots of laughter, bonding time, rides. We worked hard this year and no better place to celebrate than at an amusement park! Thank you to everyone who could make it! Look forward to doing it again next summer! Thanks for all the memories Season 5!
