Join me for blacklight glow yoga on June 6th!
We'll spend the first 10-15 minutes decking ourselves out in glow paint and temporary tattoos. Then we'll get groovy with epic beats and earthy, flowing yoga movements to get our hearts pumping.

Summer camp for kiddos are coming soon! Registration will open to all on May 29th and space is limited!
These half-day camps will focus on helping kids ages 5 - 10 build friendships and explore their creativity. There will be games, crafts, yoga, music, and tons of fun! More details will come soon!
A common cue in yoga classes is "find a seat," and I definitely say it frequently. I always try to give a few options, but if you ever wonder what the "right" option is, just know that it's whatever feels right in your body in that moment!
It would be twisty, simple, wide, asymmetrical, goofy, or anything in between. You can even use a block or blanket to make your seated posture your own.
Remember, your practice is meant to meet you where you are!

Our rummage sale fundraiser is starting up!
Bring any items you're ready to let go of to the new studio location on Tuesday or Wednesday, the 19th or 20th, from 3 - 7 pm.
All donors will get a free class pass as a thank you!
Then, whether you donate or not, bake sure you pop back in on following Saturday, the 23rd, from 9 am - 1 p.to browse the sale and maybe even find a new treasure!

We're not just moving into a larger space. We're also chasing larger dreams! The Amethyst Yogi name has served me and the community well, but it's time to evolve!
As we transition into our new space and offerings, we will be using the name Amethyst Studios.
This shift in name stays true to the inspiration of this venture - named after my daughter's birthstone - while acknowledging that this will be a space for so much more than a traditional yoga practice.
Get ready for offerings like yoga, meditation, reiki, dance, kids classes and camps, retreats, art classes, game nights, and so much more!

Spots are filling up for Pride Yoga, so if you're hoping to join in on this event, please consider registering in advance! I will make a much run as possible, and it's super helpful to know how many plan on coming (so I know if I need to move furniture around to make more space!)

One of my go-to songs this spring has been Low Sun by Hermanos Gutierrez. It is such a good, chill song that feels like a warm, breezy, spring day. I love using this one at the start of my yoga practice to let myself move intuitively and warm up my body. It's also a great one to crank up while driving with the windows down.
