We had such a blast at OneKiz Festival 2025: The Apocalypse.

On one hand, Brianna Marie had her first AND last chance to teach at the legendary OneKiz Festival of the US after attending as a guest to the previous year, OneKiz Festival: The Future. Having the opportunity to interact with connections from the previous year and to showcase her skills on the dance floor was an absolute honor and a treat.

On the other hand, Eugene 'Tin Man' Cleveland has been an active part of OneKiz Festival since 2016. OneKiz Festival has a special place in his heart (Yes, Tin Man has a heart). In 2016, Tony Pirata was supposed to come to Dallas, TX to teach a weekender, but had visa issues and couldn't attend. Shika reached out to Tin Man, having met him at Montreal Is Kizomba the previous year, asking for him to fill in. For Tin Man, this was a piece of his vision/dreams coming true and hopped on the opportunity. Since then, Tin Man has been to every OneKiz Festival in a myriad of ways. From doing videography/media marketing, to helping with set up and tear down, to running errands, etc. "It will be difficult to see a future without OneKiz." ~ Tin Man

We want to thank everyone who had a hand in putting together this past edition of OneKiz behind the scenes. We know there was a scramble but the event pulled through and everyone we have spoken to, danced with, or otherwise has been of the stance that they absolutely enjoyed themselves.

Once again... OneKiz Proves that you don't need to ton of overseas headliners to make a festival great and memorable. You just need those who love what we do present and those who work hard to keep this community together. Pay homage to the right places and scenes can flourish.

Shout out to everyone we danced with, took lessons with us, shared convos with. The DJ's kept us grooving all night for sure! Extra shout out to Suave Salsero for rolling with us and repping KIZZ INTEL in TEXAS.

We hate to see one of the greats come to an end, but we are forever grateful for the connections and opportunities we have had to this day.
