Proud of every one of these kids! Perseverance, resilience, and composure were on full display throughout the day. Even more than the medals, we loved seeing the hard work, courage, and great sportsmanship they showed out there.

Huge congratulations to .Andreotta and Joey Flowers!

Both Ryan and Joe tested and earned their Black Belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu after a very comprehensive test administered by Professor Kevin Wu. This was an incredibly special day, as these are Professor Wu’s first two Black Belt promotions.

Ryan and Joe have both been training for decades to reach this point, and what they showed today reflected that journey. Their technique, creativity, control, flow, pacing, and composure were outstanding. They demonstrated what the highest levels of talent and dedication in Jiu Jitsu look like, and these promotions were very well deserved.

A special congratulations to Joe Di Fiore, who is now a Double Black Belt in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support Ryan and Joe during their test. Days like this are a reminder of what makes the Jiu Jitsu community so special.
