The GRAB 6th grade girls team capped off their tournament season with a championship victory at the GRAB Lilac Festival tournament playing up in the modified bracket.

The team finished the season with an outstanding 20–3 record and finished 1st in the state under YBOA Power Rankings.

This was an extremely special team. The girls never gave up, no matter the situation, and the intensity and effort they brought every time they stepped on the court was remarkable. Their resilience, teamwork, and determination defined the season and made this championship run one to remember.

The top 10 nationally ranked GRAB Elite U-13 Girls won the Erie Spring Classic by going 4-0. Finley Hatch was named most outstanding defensive player of the tournament. Blythe Tetamore had her best game with 4 blocks, 5 rebounds and in the Finals against Erie Saints who averaged beating their opponents by 24 points a game. Asha Sharma, Izzy Brundage, Kylie Swallow and Lia Hanley paced the rest of the scoring for the team. Coach Bianchi’s team is now undefeated against 7th grade teams since winter of 2025.

Great weekend of basketball for GRAB National Team. They went 5-0 dominating their opponents through strong defense and great shooting. Team chemistry and loud cheers from the GRAB crowd gave the players a boost of energy 2nd half of the championship game which GRAB pulled away with a 20 point victory.

GRAB Academy 6th grade girls won their third tournament this weekend at the YBOA Rochester Rumble. What stood out the most was our defense! The pressure was constant and allowed us to outscore our opponents 210-104 over 5 games.

Congrats to the Boys 5th Grade Academy team on capturing the southern tier shootout going with an undefeated 4-0. Scoring leaders for the weekend Tommy Strong, John Davies, Gabe Walker. Strong team defense in the last game, allowing 8 points in the 2nd half for the comeback win.

Second year in a row Coach Bianchi’s 7th Grade Girls GRAB Elite Jaguars are ranked #1 in NY (and a top 5 national ranking this year). This team ended their season 3 years ago ranked top 30 nationally and 3rd in NY. Congrats to the girls and coaches Bianchi, Sharma, Tetamore and Hanley!
