We’re excited to welcome Domenic Pittis as General Manager of the Jr. Amerks.

Domenic is a former Rochester American and a 2020 Amerks Hall of Fame inductee. In 204 games with the Amerks he recorded 246 points, won the John B. Sollenberger Trophy as the AHL’s top scorer in 1998-99, and helped lead Rochester to back-to-back Calder Cup Finals.

He played 86 NHL games with Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Edmonton, and Nashville, won two Swiss league titles, then coached in the Calgary Flames organization and with the Stockton Heat. Most recently he was Director of Hockey at St. Mary’s High School, a college prep school in Stockton, California.

As GM, Domenic will oversee hockey development across our organization, support our coaches, and help players who want to take the next step.

He and his family have moved back to Rochester to join us. Welcome home, Domenic!
