This is my post workout shake ingredients. I have taken this shake for years to help me reach my goals in the gym. I love using 2 scoops of the optimum nutrition chocolate, 1 tablespoon peanut butter, 1 1/2 scoops creatine, 1/2 cup of oatmeal, 1-2 cups of milk, and if I have any bananas on hand I will toss in a banana. There are millions of ways to make a protein shake. Protein shakes do not have to use whey protein. You can make a vegan/vegetarian shake as well just substitute whey for pea/soy or any other vegan/vegetarian protein. Adding fresh or frozen berries/fruit is a great way to make any shake taste great.

What is one thing you know you should do more but don't?

Hydration is a big part of keeping your body moving and feeling good. Not being to able keep hydrated even without working out can have some bad side effects. Some problems with not being hydrated enough could be from dry mouth, tired, or being dizzy. Some ways to make water/hydration easier for you is to get some Mio or gatorade zero powder packets. I believe they have zero sugar and make water taste much better and assist with hydration.

What is a key part of your life that you love doing?

Consistency is a great way to measure success. It shows that you have drive and passion for what you put your mind and body into. When it comes to fitness and health goals, consistency is the greatest leading factor in changes to your life. You might not be the strongest, biggest, or most in shape but if you are consistent with your goals you will be unbeatable. Fitness and health goals do not appear overnight. Hard work and consistency will beat any shortcut someone tries to take.

Mondays are for viking motivation and viking history.

Believe in yourself, and you will succeed. Confidence goes a long way in this world.

Starting a new journey with anything can make you nervous and anxious. Believing in yourself even a small amount can make the biggest difference. That little amount of hope has made people crush mountains when they thought it was too difficult. Starting a fitness journey is hard but over time you will see the progress and change. You might have a hard time believing in yourself but I want you to know I believe in you and your hard work. Keep pushing for that success and you will achieve it.

Have a great day you modern vikings.

Have you done chores or some new activity and you were sore the next few days?

That is known as Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. When starting to work out you will experience this feeling quite a bit. Being sore is normal but having a sharp pain or shooting pain when working out is not. A few ways to assist the healing of your sore muscles is to use them again, massage your muscles or stretch them.

Mondays are for viking motivation and viking history.

Your tools can only get you so far. It’s your attitude that makes the real difference.

Having a positive attitude towards anything in life will help you succeed at anything you strive to do. When it comes to health and fitness, it is not always easy to be motivated to get the best out of yourself. As long as you try to strive to get better each day that is what makes the biggest difference.

Have a great day you modern vikings.

Having proper nutrition for your active lifestyle is essential.

Food is what fuels your muscles and keeps you moving. It does not matter if you are Omnivore, Vegetarian or Vegan. Being able to eat the proper amount of food will make you feel as if you are able to conquer the world. There are a few website to calculate how many calories you need to eat to lose weight, gain weight or stay the same. These website are a base line of finding out what works for you. Everyone is different when it comes to calories needed for your day. I can not give any other advice than this basic advice since I am not certified yet as a nutritionist to give a more complete explanation into foods.

Have a great day you modern vikings.
