🎣 S&R BAIT & TACKLE FISHING & WEATHER REPORT 🎣
June 12th - June 17th
Fishing opportunities continue to improve across the Rochester area as we settle into early summer patterns. Warm temperatures through the weekend followed by cooler weather next week should provide excellent conditions on local waters.
🐟 Irondequoit BayLargemouth bass, northern pike, crappie, bluegill, and perch continue to provide steady action throughout the bay. W**d edges, docks, and shoreline cover remain productive. Early morning and evening periods continue to be the best windows.
🐟 Lake Ontario ShorelineBrown trout and salmon anglers are finding fish during the early morning hours, while smallmouth bass fishing continues to improve along rocky structure and nearshore drop-offs.
🐟 Genesee RiverSmallmouth bass fishing remains productive throughout the river system. Look for fish around current seams, eddies, bridges, and rocky structure. Panfish action remains steady in slower sections.
🐟 Charlotte Pier & Genesee MouthThe river mouth and pier areas continue to provide opportunities for trout, salmon, bass, and other warmwater species. Early morning and evening remain the most productive periods.
🐟 Erie CanalBass fishing remains strong around bridges, docks, culverts, and current breaks. Panfish continue to become more active as water temperatures rise.
🐟 Braddock BayPike, bass, perch, and panfish continue to provide action around w**d beds and protected waters. As temperatures rise, look for fish around deeper w**d edges and structure.
