You may have noticed an updated sign in the park honoring our friend, Hunter Biermeier. Hunter was an RYBA athlete whose life ended too soon in 2011. His legacy lives on through his family's charitable foundation, Hugs From Hunter. This organization supports children who are experiencing crisis and tauma. You can learn more about Hugs From Hunter on their website.

To wrap up the Travel Season, several Tornadoes participated in the August Classic Tournament over the weekend in Bloomington, Burnsville, Eastview (Apple Valley), and Lakeville.

In the August Classic, 2-5 players are selected from every MBL team and are grouped together with 3-4 other teams to create an August Classic team to square off against other teams of the same age and division.

We are still looking for 13U/14U teams/players to play on the big field(90 feet bases, 60’6” pitching distance).
We also have some options for 8U/9U & 10U/11U.
