The Rochester Fencing Club has been a home and a way station for many people. You would probably be surprised how many coaches you see today in the US either trained or coached at some point in Rochester, NY. One such individual was a student of Buckie Leach in her early years, but came back to coach at the club, our former coach and teammate (one of the OGs), Susan Jennings.

On July 8th, 2026, Susan left us too soon. Her celebration of life service will be on Saturday, August 29th at the Family Center at Harris Funeral Home, in Irondequoit, NY from 11:30 AM to 2:30PM.
