Mallory Morrell: MCC Swimming & Diving 2010-2011
Mallory Morrell will forever be known as the first-ever NJCAA Female to break 23.00 in the 50-yard Freestyle. She became the fastest woman in the history of the 50 Freestyle in Womenβs Junior College Swimming & Diving by going 22.97 then 22.94. Morrell was crowned the 2011 NJCAA National Champion and National Record Holder in the 50 Freestyle and did it as a Non-Scholarship Athlete. As she broke two national records, Morrell finished her career at MCC as a six-time school recorder holder and is still the Region III Record Holder in the 50 and 100-yard Freestyle along with the Womenβs 200 Free Relay. She still holds the MCC pool record in the 50-Yard Freestyle. Morrell went on to the University of Buffalo to further her success, becoming an NCAA All-American in the 50 Yard Freestyle in 2013, the first one in school history. She was the MAC and UB School Record holder in the 50 Freestyle. She capped of an amazing swimming career by competing at the 2012 Olympic Trials in 50-meter freestyle. Mallory graduated with her B.S.N. and resides in Tampa Bay working as a Nurse.

As we close in our MCC Hall of Fame Banquet in April, I was lucky to find this in a stack of DVDs in the back. We look forward to celebrating Mallory Morrell for this amazing class of MCC Hall of Famers

Our team accomplishments recap of the season! What a great way to finish this journey up the mountain. Canβt thank you enough to the coaches and their well deserved award and thank you to the athletes who made this season what it was, we wouldnβt have been able to do it without them. What an emotional and heart warming way to end the season with these grand achievements. Great work this year Monroe. ππ€ππ€

Our NJCAA 2024-25 ALL-AMERICANS! These athletes placed Top 8 at our national meet, earning them this title. Congratulations swimmers and divers!
