What, apart from the visceral drive to tinker and toil in pursuit of a worthwhile finished product, would compel someone to pursue an authentic creative path right now?
You can quite literally speak into a device and receive nearly anything in the (almost- ) voice of nearly any one.
When the future world looks back on the withering of human creativity, I believe this period of time will be seen as the tipping point.
———
One glitch with the new way is…
Creativity/ creation/ art/ language… isn’t supposed to be perfect; It isn’t meant to be a robotic and hyper-accurate parrot of the likely flawed, nuanced, and authentic creator.
Are there some on both sides of the equation that don’t/ won’t care? Yes. But I believe that says just as much about the consumer as it does the dull-edged artificial imposter.
———
Be a thinker, not a thief; If you don’t have the time, gumption, heart, and soul to actually create, then DO SOMETHING ELSE.
Facelessly assimilating the toiled-over intellectual or creative product of anyone brave enough to put it out there, is not one ounce more honorable than stealing from the blind.
———
Pundits will shout ‘It’s advancement- why are you against it!?’ But the trouble is, in most realms, it isn’t.
When blood and tears were shed in order to bring something to life, a camera may capture the moment, but will never taste the blood, or feel the tears;
Worthwhile creation demands anima, it thrives off of vivid and voracious turns of mind, and without them, it is not truly what it appears to be.
It is merely a Peeping Tom fantasy, lurking around passions and professions that have produced some of the most legendary, tumultuous, and compelling characters in history.
———
Of course, a robot can parrot Bukowski… it can fake a stencil to look like Banksy, it can make the dim and lazy seem like they possess actual talent and creativity…
When it boils all down, those that never cared will be fine with nothing being as it seems;
But those that do, and can’t stop even if they try, just simply never will be.
There is no grey here, for me. If authenticity becomes obsolete, so will we. Gladly.
‘We would rather fail than suck.’

Our purpose is the constant construction, refinement, and transmission of hard, simple, and infinitely adaptable paths,
the honing of physical, philosophical, and martial sensibilities and capacities,
and the use of methods and manners geared to help people think, act, and adapt in lasting and non-disposable ways.
The primary vehicle is training, and the destination is- Everything.
———
We prove our process most profoundly on ourselves, those in our immediate midst, and alongside our attentive and progress-minded
Agents around the world;
To those choosing to wear any aspect of our mark, those that have circulated, disseminated, and credited our work, and any that have put their egos in the passenger seat and entered our facility-
We see you, and we appreciate you.
———
Thank you for choosing to drink from the chalice of poisonous truth.

The ‘Why of What’, Part Two.
———
The human body is a conundrum of vulnerabilities;
That is why we train people using a series of ‘Variable Elimination’ strategies.
———
Identify group-and-individual consistent inconsistencies, considering all 360-degrees.
Adjust accordingly.
Each and every body advances and improves, indefinitely.
———
Deep-water development that will withstand a vicious current demands equally ferocious strategy.

‘Experience: That most brutal of teachers.
But you learn, my God do you learn.’
- C.S. Lewis
———
All perspectives based in hard, well-proven, positive and negative experience are bought-and-paid-for by... someone.
And caring can be expensive,
but it is never as costly
as not caring.
———
Once we’ve chosen to invest even our hardest lessons into others, they become more asset,
and less liability;
Even our demons,
crave camaraderie.
———
We again thank Ed for freely and graciously sharing with us the mostly-mysterious pieces of an often-clandestine puzzle.
He is a teacher like no other,
and as with us- is driven by discontent, but never limited by it;
For better or worse,
there is no off-season
for the truly purpose-driven.
———
‘The cycle of learning
destroys and creates;
Takes more than we have,
but gives more than it takes.’

Full Circle:
Long-time member ran his first Public Assistance group for us on Saturday at the very spot where Wolf Brigade began in 2008, while the gym was closed for the clinic.
———
The days leading up to his maiden voyage into teaching made me think about our lengthy corresponding history.
When Blaise told me that he had one of our original ‘Will of the Weak’ shirts back in middle school (and that in order to stay out of trouble, he added an “o” to the realm down below... ),
I realized that something rarer and cooler than I had even perceived had transpired between us:
I have been beating a similar-sounding drum, for nearly 30 years, and...
Some have been listening for almost that long.
———
Not a duration or perspective I think about a lot, but it is unusual,
and in this transient, impatient, tourist culture, is also notable and admirable.
———
Blaise is running towards everything, and away from nothing;
True progress does not hide… It hunts.
We congratulate him on stalking advancement, and catching it.
He has chosen to excel,
and not simply exist,
and we are thrilled
to be able to assist.

We understand the nature of these big-business digital diaries:
They feeds us in systematic,
bite-sized pieces, in order to dictate and control our desire to eat a full and balanced meal;
We are complicit in the fact that we participate, but heretical in *how* we do so.
————
If you support us-
in any larger of a way
than simply “following” us-
then, show us.
There are hundreds of non-disposable, mindful, and valuably proprietary entries living on this page, and we encourage you to hunt through;
We encourage you
to read and watch more than once, feel what hits home or causes a stir,
and share with those you think
may be awakened or assisted.
—
Our content is a living document, not a hall of fame;
In order for years-worth of arguably excessive effort (geared to help familiars and strangers alike) to prove worthwhile,
the information must be referred to and remembered after its birth,
and further disseminated by those that find lasting value.
——
Our climb is steep;
In an industry that favors gimmick, flare, and fluff,
and celebrates “characters” over, character,
our truth-and-proof-based
process and product
is very often cast aside...
We are easy to overlook,
because we do not bark as loud
or appear as refined.
———
Tangible, unmatchable progress exhibited by an outfit like ours causes... digestive distress...
for many that find themselves behind the curve;
Help us keep them there,
and keep them scared,
by taking in what
has been given,
and taking out,
a moment to share.
Please and thank you.

Very few photos ever taken of me have caused, pause.
I struggle to see myself how I am outwardly, minus the pall of how I feel inwardly;
It makes powerful images such as these, seem like insanity.
———
Self-perception is often a mystery.
I don’t totally understand it,
but I also don’t argue with it.
I find it impossible and dishonorable to perceive myself a thing, until I have truly earned the right to believe I am that thing.
As my personal standards border on, unreasonable, that has always proven to be a tall order.
But.
Once it is filled, I AM, that f**kin’ thing.
No shortcuts, gimmicks, or guessing.
That is how I prefer it,
and how I believe it should be.
———
I have many less-than-ideal qualities, but I will never feed a fantasy.
Thank you,
for both capturing what I am,
and making me consider it.

I can seldom sit still,
and my brain is often a mess.
My confidence is s**t,
and there are days I don’t even
want to get dressed.
Misery is sneaky,
and it frequently attacks me,
but I know its tricks and traps,
and have no plans to go easy.
—
When the dark won’t light,
and covers like a blanket,
I never lose sight of the fact
that I’ve earned it…
I’ve never made an easy choice
to avoid making the right one,
and I’ve fallen hard
so many times
the damage can’t be undone.
But.
If trial and turmoil
are part-and-parcel
of a life lived to full potential…
I’ll weather the arrows,
stitch the wounds,
and never lose forest for trees,
if the reward
is going out on my shield
alongside friends like these.

Composition > Completion.
———
When we do things frequently,
often the fundamentals
begin to dull.
Loss of base-level detail
will always impact
(and sometimes even halt)
high-level development.
———
While climbing closer to the top, please remember that holding you up, is a foundation that you trust.
Honor it, sharpen it, question it, attack it, and then…
Do it all again.
———
All enduring progress
is a product
of quality origin
and conscious process.
(Stiffest challenges
sit proudly
atop the strongest foundations.)
