We are a student-run competitive club sport team at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. Our men's team is a 9-time USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship qualifier (1975, 1977, 1999, 2009-12, 2014, 2019). After a tough pair and unlucky carry, the Tigers fall to Purdue, 2-0, ending the run. It’s frustrating to finish only 7/8th after never really feeling out of it. Everyone on the roster is a vastly improved bowler from last year and we’re once again only graduating one. This is a program on the rise!
The person leaving us this year is a massive contributor, on and off the lanes. Declan Stiles is an incredible bowler and somehow an even better teammate. He’ll be greatly missed!
Tigers lose a close one to NJIT 3-2. We’ll be bowling the winner of Penn State vs UTSA in the contenders bracket shortly.
We won our match against Arizona State 3-1 and move on to the 3rd round of the winners bracket. We face NJIT tomorrow at 7:45!

Yesterday, we held our annual Strike Challenge Tournament. This year’s format included a qualifying portion and a step ladder to determine the winner. Senior Declan Stiles took out top-seed Josh Winter in the final to claim the title and a Transformer! Congratulations to Declan!

Rough first day, but we are in good spirits this morning! 32 more baker games today to try to make a run! We will not be streaming the morning block due to being on the BowlTV live stream.

On March 1st, we are holding our fourth annual Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser event! To participate, all you need to do is scan the QR code on the flyer (or head to https://forms.gle/eQk15pVBwg7z7gJ87) to fill out the pledge form. Then watch on March 1st to see how many pins your chosen bowler knocks down! After bowling is completed, we will contact you with a recap of the score your chosen bowler shot along with details about how you can donate.
We will be livestreaming the event on our page at 4 PM on Sunday, March 1st, and free pizza and beverages will be provided if you’d like to come watch in-person at Brockport Bowl! We greatly appreciate your support!
