Bats are back in town!

Men's Registrant No. 18 for LAXNAI 2025: Rochester Bats

Our defending champs are back in Utica, looking to become the first three-time winners since Thompson Bros Lacrosse ran the table from 2016-2018. Rochester won the big wooden trophy in two of the last three years (2022 and 2024), and did so with relative ease last Fall, winning their five games by a combined score of 39-16.

While there's no shortage of native, international and US talent across the Gold pools, the Bats have become known for assembling talented, balanced squads from the NLL's strongest hotbed: Ontario. The team oozes professionalism, and has become the favored Fall squad for some of the world's best to sharpen their game before pro camps. However, the impressive lineup of Canucks are not detached from the community they represent: "Do it for #15" has been the team's motto for the last year, honoring a nine-year-old girls player and Bats fan from Greece, NY who lost her life prior to the 2024 Invitational.

The 2025 North American Invitational will be held Sep 18-21 across the three rinks under one roof at Nexus Center in Utica, NY. Registration across all five divisions (Men, Women, U-18 Boys, U-15 Boys and Masters) is now open on an invitational basis to returning and new teams. Interested parties should contact [email protected] as soon as possible as registration will close shortly.

2024 Bats Invitational Champions! The boys had a blast a week ago and took home the big win 25-7 over the LAXNAI All-Stars.

The Invitational is something we have done for three years now and is extremely important to our team. As a Rochester team we do not have many games here. So to create the Invitational and make it an annual event at home, in front of our fans and families is very important to us. It gives the families, fans and all of our supporters who cannot travel, a chance to see the Bats battle in Rochester and at the Blue Cross Arena.

We would like to give a special shout out to Signature lacrosse for sponsoring the game! And for also giving the game MVP a new Signature head and mesh kit! Chris Attwood took that home with no questions! And to A Higher Society for sponsoring the trophy! This year the trophy was once again made by Traditional Lacrosse. Traditional worked with us and made a Traditional Lacrosse stick, and engraved it and strung it just for this game! Thank you Mark Rodzinka for capturing all of the pictures of the game! And to Rob Ostapek of Twisted Heads for being an incredible trainer, equipment boss and door police!

📌 The 3rd Annual Bats Invitational is set for Saturday April 6th at the Blue Cross Arena with the faceoff set for 1pm.

We will be taking on the LAXNAI All-Stars and looking forward to a great game and continuing the tradition!

The boys can't wait to be home and put a show on for the fans in our home town barn!
