The 2019 Supermoto East Coast (SMEC), season has concluded. It was a great year of racing! Made some new friends and alot of great memories. I managed to put my RightSideUpRacing CRF450R on the podium every round. Three 1st places and two 3rd places to take the SMEC 2 class championship! With over 200 points. I want to thank the SMEC crew for putting together everything this year. Lastly I want to thank the sponsors for the support over the season.

"Round 4 is in the books! Englishtown Raceway in NJ was fast! Qualified #1 and took home 1st! The bike was on rails this weekend! Had a bad start at the flag but 2nd lap the guy in front gave me an opportunity and I was gone! Next up SMEC round 5 and the East Coast Championship! I want to thank Supermoto East Coast for another great weekend! Great supermoto promoter!! Also want to thank my sponsors! Couldn't really do it without the support! "

Congrats to on his CRF450!

Way too much to write about. We had crashing, mechanical failures, bad luck, and most of all a lot of perseverance. But round one is in the books and the season has begun. Just hope we got all the drama out of the way here in Tally. Thank you to everyone that supported us and all the well wishes.

2017 is looking like a busy year on the track..

With the 2016 racing season in the books I would like to take the time to thank everyone that helped me make this season so special. First of all JP and Nick Shahin for countless hours of trackside advice, adjustments and coaching. Thank you for setting the highest bar for sportsmanship and respect for our sport. Thank you for always having my back with the right words of encouragement or that last piece of race craft to help me get to the front. To my new wife Paige, my kids Mackenzie, Ian, and my family, for always supporting me both in person and in spirit for the countless weekends spent on the road chasing this Championship down. To Right Side Up Racing: Berto Grillo, Matt Zimmerman, John Moss, Tim Reynolds, Mike Vaccarelli, and of course Bart Derosa. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate you guys pushing me when I thought I couldn't go further, putting the bike back together after I went down, and never letting me lose sight of the big picture.
Gary Virgin who I watched win 4 championships but always had time, and a kind word for me in the pits.
And lastly, thank you WERA, all the great WERA racers that I competed with and against all year. I have nothing but respect for what those guys do every weekend.
2016 brought a total of 20 podiums, A National Championship in novice Senior Superbike, and 2nd place overall in novice B Superstock. A 4th overall in B Superbike novice , and a 4th overall in 600 superstock novice.
I hang up my Heroic leathers this year with no regrets and can't wait to see what 2017 brings riding with Shahin 95 racing.

Tic Toc… In a last minute push to get the Honda ready for the WERA GNF this Thursday. Its been a crazy few weeks since the round at NOLA overcoming insanely stressful work commitments, the coach generator going bad, bike issues, and trying to balance racing and my obligations. I want to take a moment and thank my inner circle for the kind words and encouragement to help me commit to making this Championship weekend. There is one truth that we cannot escape. Without risk, there can never be reward. So we mount up once again Tuesday and head south to Alabama to chase our dreams and see what we are made of..

WERA @ NOLA 9/24-9/25: Huge weekend for the RSUR and Shahin 95 racing teams. 13 podiums in 16 races. Thanks to Nick and JP Shahin for the track knowledge and support. Shout out to Mike Vaccarelli and David Smith for the help in the pits and all the hard work in getting all our gear to New Orleans and still having the energy to race to personal lap bests. Respect to all the people that support me in this quest. Heroic Racing Apparel MotoOption Clothing Right Side Up Kreations

Another awesome RSUR racing weekend with Shain 95 Enterprise. Taking advantage of a trackday Friday to learn a new, and certainly the most challenging track, we have ever ridden really showed up on the podium Saturday and Sunday. A thunderstorm Saturday morning made the first couple races extremely challenging. But the sun came out and the track came to life. RSUR finished the day with 3 podiums and some great personal times. Sunday was a National day, and with all 3 bikes running races the pits were buzzing all day. The weather was perfect and the track was fast. Bigger National grids made for some spectacular racing. RSUR took some lumps, with disappointing starts, finishes, and a few crashes. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the 113 bike of Julie Julz who wrecked avoiding a racing incident with one of our teammates in turn 3. The day was difficult but we fought through till the last flag dropped. Special thanks to JP and Aaron Shahin for all the work on the bikes and encouragemnt coming off the track. Congratulations to Berto Grillo and Mike Vacarelli for setting person best lap times and some great racing. This weekend’s 1st place finish in Senior Superbike novice wrapped up the North Central Championship for Craig Camp winning by a mere 4 points overall. David Smith captured a 3rd place podium in 750 SS novice race, and Nick Shahin from Shahin 95 Enterprises for killed it in his National races and recapturing the number one National spot in 750 Superstock and 600 Superstock! All in all, we got better and enjoyed the weekend in a way only track family will ever understand. Thank you everyone for your continued support and well wishes. Next round will be in NOLA, New Orleans, September 23rd through 25th.
