Please join us in celebrating RTC’s resident Southern gentleman. The mustachioed Mississippi marvel, (otherwise known as Erich Grabowski), has been a prominent fixture of the club over the years; gracing Rochester’s tennis courts and community with his finesse, knowledge and charming drawl.

It should come as no surprise that he has made his mark elsewhere, and long before he ventures into the frozen North.

On April 19, 2026, Erich was honored during a dedication ceremony at Gulfport High School in Mississippi. He coached tennis and taught AP classes for 3 decades; leading his athletes to an impressive win-loss record of 213-42!

The school’s court complex is now named after Coach Erich- and it is an honor well-deserved and more than earned.

We are so blessed to have Erich as a member of our community, and hope that he feels as appreciated here as he clearly is in Gulfport. If you cross paths with this dapper, wry gentleman, please give him your regards and a hearty congratulations!
