A dynamic guard out of Daemen University, Slack made his name long before the pros — a 3x Team MVP at Gates Chili, Monroe County standout, and All-Greater Rochester talent who could fill it up from anywhere on the floor.

Jason Hawkes is a 6’4” guard from Rochester, New York, known for his versatility, court vision, and ability to impact the game on both ends.

A standout at Siena University, Hawkes built his reputation as a reliable playmaker and competitor, bringing consistency, toughness, and leadership every time he steps on the floor.

Now entering Year 3 with the Rochester Royal Ballers, Jason continues to be a key piece of the teams foundation bringing experience, chemistry, and a winning mindset into the 2026 season.

Hawkes returns ready to elevate his game and help push the Royal Ballers to the next level.

Keith McGee is a 6’4” guard from Rochester, New York, known for his scoring ability, athleticism, and competitive edge.

A standout at Greece Arcadia High School, McGee made his mark nationally at South Plains College, where he helped lead the program to the 2018 NJCAA National Championship, earning Tournament MVP honors along the way.

He went on to compete at the Division I level with the University of New Mexico before finishing his collegiate career at Morgan State, where he emerged as a consistent offensive contributor. Before his long stint in the Africa super league Keith help us finish the 2024-25 season

McGee now returns to Home, bringing veteran presence, unlimited athleticism and scoring firepower back to the team in Year 4.

Rochester → National Champion → Division I → Africa Super Liga → Back Home.

The PBL Combine Series comes to Rochester, NY on April 18th, offering players a professional-level evaluation and exposure opportunity.

Athletes will compete in live game action, undergo combine performance testing, and receive recorded stats and game film for review and exposure.

Professional scouts and coaches will be in attendance, actively evaluating players who are ready to separate themselves and compete at the next level.

👑Rochester Royal Ballers PBL Tryouts👑

The Rochester Royal Ballers are officially opening the next phase of roster building for the upcoming PBL season (June–September).

We will continue competition through NBL-US (November–March), creating a year-round professional platform for serious players.

Key Dates

March 14th, 2026 – Private Local Tryouts (local athlete evaluations)
April 11th – PBL National Combine Series

This organization was built to give Rochester talent a real opportunity while also competing on a national stage.

In addition to league play, we will be sending 3–7 players on an overseas tour through the NBL, creating international exposure and professional pathways.

The Rochester Royal Ballers and the ABA have come to a mutual understanding and will be parting ways moving forward.

We want to sincerely thank the ABA for the opportunity to compete in a league that has played a major role in providing exposure and professional experience for athletes across the country. The ABA continues to be a respected platform for players and organizations, and we’re grateful for the chapter we shared.

As for us, we’re entering a new phase of growth and expansion — and we’re excited about what the future holds for our team, our players, and the city of Rochester.
