The Rochester Sports Garden proudly presents the Homegrown Athlete Scholarship, created to recognize graduating senior athletes from Rush Henrietta High School who demonstrate strong work ethic, leadership, character, and dedication both on and off the field.

This scholarship is awarded to a student-athlete who represents those same values and has made a positive impact through their commitment, attitude, and perseverance.

We are proud to support local athletes as they take the next step toward their future and continue pursuing excellence in all they do.

​The graduating senior receiving this scholarship will be selected based on the following criteria:

▪ The applicant has maintained an excellent academic record (at least an 80% cumulative average).

▪ The applicant has been an active sport athlete in their junior and senior years

▪ The applicant is a demonstrated team player on and off the field

To apply, please have your senior stop in the College and Career Center at Rush Henrietta High School.

The event features a ladder style format within a round robin table group. There are 3 rounds ….

Round 1 Round Robin: Seeded snake style top to bottom per rating central or USATT rating

Round 2 Round Robin: Move to new round robin tables. Top 2 of each group move to 4 Upper Tables while bottom 2 of each group move to 4 Lower Tables.

Round 3 Round Robin: We do it again with a small tweak. Upper 1st place finishers end up in a group, Upper 2nd place finishers end up in a group and so on creating 8 groups of matches against your peers. This round is typically a battle royal as all 8 tables end up with same level players and fight it out for a prize. Remember …. EVERY TABLE PAYS!!! (prize amounts subject to change proportionally with less than 32 entries)
