Jared Butson is the heart of St. Charles athletics, known for his work as a PE teacher, a highly respected official, and an assignor for the Rochester Area Officials Association (RAOA).
Here he is in action, not making calls, but driving the team bus to a critical playoff match in Caledonia. The drive is deeply personal for Jared, as he balances his many responsibilities to support his community and his own son, who is a player on the team.

Led by RAOA veteran officials Jim Fall, Jess Krawlinski, and MJ Wagenson, these aspiring referees engaged in a rigorous curriculum focused on the technical aspects of basketball officiating.
