🥋 The 123rd International Taekwondo Master Course is now underway in Malaysia, bringing together masters from around the world to learn, grow, and strengthen the global Taekwondo community. 🌍🔥

With additional WTA 세계태권도연수원 Qualification Courses already planned for Germany and India, many masters here in the United States are also asking about opportunities for a future course in the USA. 👊

The World Taekwondo Academy (WTA) and 국기원 Kukkiwon welcome applications from qualified Taekwondo institutions worldwide.

This week, President 윤웅석 Ung Suk Yun visited California for the Taekwondo Masters & Leaders Conference. Leaders, masters, and instructors gathered to share ideas, strengthen connections, and continue growing Taekwondo for the next generation.

Events like this help unite the worldwide Taekwondo family while honoring the traditions and values of Kukkiwon and our martial art.

— Our dojangs have been helping with 국기원 Kukkiwon High DAN video testing submissions since 2023. 🥋🎥

Kukkiwon now requires video tests for 5th through 7th DAN promotions, and we are proud to continue supporting instructors and practitioners through the process. 👊

👊🥋 Flashback to last year’s incredible Kukkiwon NY World Class Poomsae Seminar!

We had an outstanding turnout with 92 participants in Rochester and 85 students at the Schenectady session ranging from young beginners to senior black belts. The energy, passion, and dedication to 국기원 Kukkiwon Taekwondo was amazing to see!

A special thank you to GM Kang and Master Yoonhyun Nam from Master Kang’s Miracles Taekwondo for leading such an inspiring seminar, and thank you to Master Kim's Taekwondo Institute and Pai's Tae Kwon Do Schenectady, NY for hosting the event.

Kukkiwon NY will continue to provide more high quality events like this to help promote Kukkiwon Taekwondo and support the growth of our martial arts community! 🥋🔥

🙏🥋We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of Kukkiwon New York this past year. Together, we’ve made a meaningful impact—helping process over 200 국기원 Kukkiwon certificates, hosting a world-class Poomsae seminar, organizing a high Dan test, bringing dojangs across the state together for Taekwondo Month in NYS, and supporting the Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Hanmadang USA with 6 World Champions!

The momentum continues to grow. Just this week alone, we’ve received a phone call from New Zealand, an email from North Carolina, and multiple social media messages asking for guidance on Kukkiwon procedures.

While Kukkiwon has moved away from the official U.S. Branch system, our mission remains the same. Kukkiwon NY is a network of dedicated Masters who are here to support the Taekwondo community. We are always willing to help answer questions about Kukkiwon procedures, assist with Dan testing and certification, and provide guidance on video testing. All of our dojangs maintain direct connections to Kukkiwon, and we are proud to help others navigate the process.

We will continue to stay active, share updates, and keep everyone informed on Kukkiwon, Kukkiwonkms, and WTA 세계태권도연수원 activities. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
