YOU’RE WATCHING COLLEGE SOCCER WRONG!
If you want to play at the college level, stop watching the ball.
Pick ONE player at your position and watch them for 15 minutes.
Scanning. Positioning. Communication. Movement. Decisions. Reaction after mistakes.
Then ask yourself:
“What are they doing consistently that I’m NOT doing yet?”
Don’t just watch the game.
STUDY THE LEVEL.
SAVE this and try it at the next college game you watch.

“I’ll do anything to play college soccer.”
Okay… but your list is ONLY NCAA schools?
NAIA? “No.”
JUCO? “Absolutely not.”
But have you actually watched them play?
Talked to the coaches?
Researched the programs?
Or are you just judging the label?
If you really want to play college soccer, stop eliminating opportunities you know nothing about.
There’s legit soccer outside the NCAA.
Your ego shouldn’t be building your school list.
Cast your net wide. You can narrow it later.
SAVE this before you start crossing schools off your list.

“I can always play D3.” 🙄
Yeah… you might want to go watch a D3 game first.
Because some of y’all are talking about D3 like you can just show up and get minutes.
You can’t.
Good D3 soccer is FAST.
It’s physical.
It’s technical.
Rosters are competitive.
And there are freshmen every year who show up thinking they’re about to start…
then find out real quick:
College soccer is still college soccer.
Nobody cares what you did in high school.
You still have to earn your spot.
So before you call D3 your “backup,” go watch a program you’re actually interested in.
Find the player at YOUR position and watch them.
Then ask yourself:
Could I take their minutes?
Could I compete at that speed?
Would this program actually help me develop?
And would I still want to be at that school if soccer disappeared tomorrow?
Stop judging opportunities by the number after the D.
Go watch the level.
Then decide.
SAVE this and send it to the teammate who thinks D3 = easy.

Some of y’all are treating D2 like the backup plan if D1 doesn’t happen.
Respectfully… go watch a D2 game first.
The speed is there.
The physicality is there.
The technical ability is there.
Transfers. International players. High-level athletes are competing for the SAME minutes.
You might find out real quick that the level you thought you were “too good for” is actually really good.
And here’s the bigger point:
D1 doesn’t guarantee you’ll play.
A big-name logo doesn’t guarantee you’ll develop.
And having “D1” in your bio means absolutely nothing if you’re miserable, buried on the depth chart, or at the wrong school.
Stop recruiting for the label.
Recruit for the FIT.
Find the place where your soccer, academics, goals, and opportunity actually make sense.
Think D2 is your backup plan?
Go watch a game this fall.
Then come back and tell us what you think.
SAVE THIS and send it to the teammate who swears it’s “D1 or nothing.”
