Group taolu (form) is great for training. It teaches timing, rhythm, and it's a great way to energize a group! Group taolu are also an excellent way to showcase the discipline and beauty of Kung Fu.

Clinching and grappling skills are imperative to martial arts. Learning them will not only improve your skills but make certain aspects of forms or kata make more sense. That movement that appears to be a strike may make more sense as clinch work, grapple, or even throw. Study your technique, and find what works best for you!

Unbeknownst to many people, weight bearing exercises have always been part of martial arts training. Strength makes a huge difference when paired with good technique.
