Our days as a club are over, but our bond will never break. Proud of these three guys for winning state titles this weekend. I miss working with them, but am overwhelmed with joy to see their success continue.
Congrats to Bailey Wilkins, Rodrick Whitlock, Dalton Mackey, and Noah Reynolds for advancing to the SC State Finals!

Last Live Night at Rhino SC. One last scrap before we close our doors for good.
I had a HS wrestler/club member stop by to talk and reminisce today at the club while I was cleaning and clearing some stuff out- it made me think of this. A lot of great memories were made, along with a special bond that will never be broken.
I am Wrestling! Do not weep for me!!
Weep for those who will never experience me.
Weep for those who will never feel the exhausting pain of my training,
Weep for those who will never sense the bond of Camaraderie that once established, will never wane or die.
Weep for those who will never comprehend the demands of my discipline
And most of all, Weep for those poor souls who will never miss me, because they never knew me.
I am Wrestling! Do not weep for me!!
I have been experienced in virtually every culture and civilization known to mankind.
I have been contested in over 150 documented forms in written history.
There is no Nation on this planet that throughout all time, has not experienced me.
I am Wrestling! Do not weep for me!!
Look to those seated around you and think of the qualities that make them what they are:
Accountability, responsibility, persistence, fortitude, strength, compassion, work ethic, ingenuity, determination, integrity, honesty, focus, diligence, and resolve.
Wrestling is not the only place they could acquire these, but By God they all reside here!! And if you live with me long enough these will become you.
I am Wrestling! Do not weep for me!!
No political agenda or political interpretation can ever destroy me. My merit and my worth is no threat to any cause, but rather through my values, I am a model for others.
I am Wrestling! Do not weep for me!!
Celebrate what I am, celebrate what I have been, celebrate what I represent, and celebrate the many ways I have impacted your life. I will survive this test as I have survived others, I am forever etched into the very fiber of all mankind.
The world needs me. Time is on my side. History guarantees me!
I am Wrestling! Do Not weep for me!!
Stay strong my fellow wrestlers, we will carry our life lessons we learned from this sport forever!

I wanted to wait a little bit for things to slow down, but as most of you have heard, we'll be closing at the end of this month. It was a great run that we had. We're not closing due to a lack of success on the mat, we know we had a lot of that, but things didn't work out on the business/financial side.
A lot of great memories and friendships were made during this time- whether it was with other coaches or the parents. I'd like to thank the guys at Darkhorse and C2X for reaching out to me- I would check either of those two clubs out. They both have solid coaching and they are class people who do things the right way.
I'd like to thank the parents for trusting me with their children and believing in what I was doing. You made a lot of sacrifices to bring your kids to practices and tournaments and are a huge reason why we were successful.
I'd like to thank the wrestlers for buying in to what I was teaching and believing in the process. You all made these last three years of coaching so much fun and enjoyable- it will be very tough to find another group that worked so darn hard and still had a lot of fun. I'm not done coaching- more info on that will be coming soon, so we will all get together in the near future and roll. Just remember when you step on the mat to put on a show and have some fun- the rest will take care of itself.
Thanks to Mike Malinconico for allowing me to use the Rhino name and for his help along the way. He's one of the best coaches in the business, and I'm happy to see that all of his hard work has led him to his job at Flowrestling.
There's also my wife, Magan, to thank. She allowed me to pursue this club and did a lot at home with our daughters while I was at practice during the week or tournaments on the weekend. She celebrated victories with me, and also helped with some club business when we were first starting out. I love you more than you know.
We're still going to train hard these next two weeks and finish on Thursday, September 29 with one final LIVE NIGHT!!!
