Results and standings from week #5.
Some very good scores this week. Newcomer, Chance Heyden, shot the highest score followed by Lucas Bouwman then Travis Van Ravenswaay. One of us actually “Robin Hooded” his own arrow in the 12 ring! This Tuesday is week 6, the final week. Trophies will be presented afterwards. Also, the winner of the $50 Scheels gift card will be drawn. Good luck to all!

This Sunday, September 20th at 6:30 pm we would like to have all members and their families, if possible, meet at the archery range for a group picture with the two new 3D animal targets and new replacement inserts that we purchased with the grant money we received from the Grand Falls Casino/Riverboat Foundation. Submitting a picture of the purchases is one of the requirements of receiving the grant and will also be helpful for any other future grant applications.
The rest of the 3D targets will be set out for all youth and adult members to shoot at with their bows, after the group picture is done. The Rock River Archery Club does have some youth bows available for use.
If everyone can at least make it to the range for the group picture at 6:30, that would be very much appreciated.

Week 4 of 6 is complete. Once again, some very good scores. For the most part, everyone seems to be improving and that’s what it’s all about. Lucas Bouwman ,Harlan Kruid and Connor Altman had the top scores, in that order. Great shooting everyone!
The archers participating in the 12 ring elk shot, put together a nice group of arrows. 4 more names in the drawing for the $50 Scheels gift card.

Week 3 is in the books and we are halfway through our fall 3D league. We have had some great shooting, seen big improvements in accuracy, and had a great time so far.
Just a reminder that we will be starting at 6:30 for the rest of league due to the days getting shorter. If anyone wants to join in and give league a try, you can pay $10 and shoot any of or all of the last 3 nights.
Also come to the range Tuesday nights and shoot at the elk after league shooting scores are in. $1 per arrow to try and hit the 12 ring at 50+ yards. Shoot as many times as you want a get your name in the drawing each time you put one in the 12 ring. A $50 Scheels gift card will be drawn the last night of league.

Tuesday night 3D League will start at 7 pm this Tuesday 9/1 . The following week we will start at 6:30 pm.

Week 2 of 6 results. Some very good shooting Tuesday night. A special shout out to the ladies, Sue and Kelly with a 367 and a 369 for scores. Lucas had the high score of the night with a 395 and Steve Wells had the second highest score of the night 384. Great shooting ladies and gentlemen!

Week 1 of 6 is in the books. Some pretty good shooting for the first night of league. Some really close scores towards the top of the leader board. Just remember we just use your 4 highest scores. If you didn’t make it to league the first night, you still have 5 weeks left to get 4 scores in.
We are also doing the drawing for the $50 Scheels gift card at the end of league. $1 per arrow to hit the 12 ring on the the elk at 50+ yards and get your name in the drawing. Enter as many times as you want and get your name in the drawing every time you hit the 12 ring.
