This is why buying a good bike pays off.

This Trek 820 started out as Dad’s bike, and now his son is tall enough to ride it back and forth to school. It came in after a flat, and once Jason got into it, a broken rim strap turned out to be the culprit.

Since it was already on the stand for new tires, Jason gave it a good check-over and found a few other things that needed attention. Fresh brake pads, a little tightening where needed, and some chain l**e later, this bike is solid and ready to keep going.

We love seeing a good bike get passed down and continue doing what it was bought to do.

It might be September, but it’s starting to feel a little like Christmas around here. 📦

New freight is rolling in as we start restocking for the months ahead. Jason gives a look at some of what showed up, including parts for the service department and a new tool for straightening those slightly out-of-line disc brake rotors that like to make that annoying rubbing noise.

We also restocked our C9 Cloud saddles for anyone who’s been having a little too much “sore butt” talk after their rides lately. 😂

A birthday bike worth waiting a few extra days for. 🎂🚲

This little girl came in with her mom on her birthday looking for a BMX bike. We got her sized, and an 18” Sunday was the right fit. We didn’t have the color she wanted on the floor, so we ordered this one in Gloss Toothpaste just for her.

It showed up a few days later, we got it built, and it has officially gone home with its new rider.
We hope she has a ton of fun on it!

The garage is filling up again!

We just got in some fresh bike shipments to help fill up the shop, and Jason and Lance are already getting to work.

They’re unboxing an Aventon Aventure 3 fat tire ebike here, with more Aventons still in boxes and two pallets of Trek bikes waiting to be built.
They’ve got their work cut out for them between building bikes and keeping up with repairs today.

Some good miles with Jason and Lance out at Firehole.

Beautiful views along the way and a little rocky climbing to finish it off. Lance handled the downshift and made his way right through it.

That mystery noise when you pedal has to be coming from somewhere.

This customer’s Specialized Turbo Tero was in for a tune-up and check-over, and one of the concerns was a noise while pedaling. Jason tracked it down to a worn pedal.

Pedals wear out too, so this one is getting a fresh set of S***k Spike pedals with sealed bearings. A nice upgrade and one less noise to worry about.

And we agree with Jason, it’s pretty great seeing so many kids pedaling to school in the mornings. Keep it up and keep on riding!
