Rock Springs Parks & Recreation Department Each division provides our citizens with outstanding recreational opportunities year-round.

The Rock Springs Parks & Recreation Department oversees all parks, recreation centers, golf course, and ballfields within the city limits of Rock Springs, Wyoming.

With a two week break from swimming lessons, our pool hours in the evening are 4:30 - 6:30 pm for lap & open swim.

To preserve the history of Rock Springs, we also need to preserve the Museum where pieces of history are kept.
Hydro-Tech Incorporated has been contracted to repair the stonework exterior to keep our Museum standing through Wyoming’s tough winters. We’d like to thank the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, the Rock Springs Historic Preservation Commission, and the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office for making this project possible.

Join us at the Family Recreation Center for a hands-on class focused on fi***rm safety, handling fundamentals, and personal confidence.

No shooting is included. The class focuses entirely on safety instruction, handgun mechanics, practical handling, and responsible storage.
