I have taught so many people how to make kombucha. My kids and I drink it regularly. I share it often with my friends and answer troubleshooting questions with those I’ve helped get started. Here are a series of videos of my process. Feel free to ask questions or make recommendations. I love experimenting! My most successful experiment is a chocolate kombucha made with a chocolate tea. My mouth waters thinking about it!
Recipe:
2 gallons water
4 T. Green tea
6 T. Oolong
2 c. Sugar
Scale recipe as desired.
Steep tea 5 minutes stirring tea bag half way. Let tea cool to room temperature before adding it to the scoby. SCOBY: symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast
Let it ferment 2-4 days depending on weather and taste preference. Bottle and drink OG or add juice or fruit and let ferment 5-7 days depending on taste preference. Ferment is a dark, warm location. Enjoy!

This class is for women who want/need to exercise but are unsure, intimidated or overwhelmed with the idea. This class is a non-traditional, therapeutic approach to yoga. Micromovements are taught in gentle, strength building muscle activations that aid in improving pain and mobility.

This offered an excellent explanation for the body’s anxiety response. The explanation of the brain and body response was particularly well written. I would add to the article on behalf of adults or teens that asking yourself questions will decrease the gray matter and fire up the prefrontal cortex or thinking part of the brain. The amygdala and prefrontal cortex cannot fire at the same time and the PFC will override the amygdala with question asking and answering. For example, when anxiety is triggered: Am I physically safe? Yes. What emotion am I feeling? (I actually have a list of emotions printed since I numb quickly after being triggered) What is causing me to feel this emotion? (I often find the answer to this question unrelated to my present moment.)
As I have practiced these questions, I find myself quicker to deregulate anxiety. This does take time and practice as you rewire your brain. So be patient and gentle with yourself. Guard against self guilt or shame as you struggle through the process. Finally, Breathe Deeply and celebrate the success each time anxiety shifts to calm and peacefulness.

I enjoyed working with someone today on pelvic floor strengthening. It is one of my favorite topics. After thirty minutes of intentional movement, she looked at me surprised at her level of fatigue and lack of ability to do a seemingly simple movement.
