Mom & Pop Racing- Grassroots Mountain Bike Team

A new year is upon us and Mom & Pop are wasting no time to make a statement. On January 4th we invaded the Pando Winter Sports Park in Rockford, MI for the Fun Promotions Fat Bike Race Series. And as advertised we did not disappoint. Emily took 3rd in the women's race while Melissa took 1st. Seth and Jeff took home third in the advanced 2 person team category. Dave and Jimmie both raced well during their first fat bike race.

Next up is race #2 at Rolling Hills Park in Ypsilanti on January 26th. Hope to see you there.

This is what a double podium girl looks like! Mom & Pop took on Peak 2 Peak this wknd. Wendy not only won the women's SS race, she took 5th in the women's Pro/ Elite as well!! Jimmie scored 11th in men's Pro, Melissa won women's Expert, and Todd took 6th in men's Expert SS. One hell of a showing!!!

Good luck to all the Mom & Pop Racing Team members that will be battling it out at the Pando XC race in Rockford as well as those that are hitting day two of the Waterford CX race!!!!! Tear it up!!!

Last weekend we had people all over the state of Michigan, racing mountain bikes in Brighton and drilling it at the Michigan State Road Race Championships in Lawton. This coming weekend Jimmie (expert men), Todd (elite/ expert single speed) and Wendy (elite women's single speed) are on thier way to Pennsylvania to compete in The USAC nation mountain bike championships. We wish them luck and safe travels. And for the three of you we're proud to be your teamates and friends!
