Rockford Masonic Lodge #246 awards scholarships
to seniors at Rockford High School,
with funds provided by the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation

Rockford, Michigan, May 12, 2026. -The Rockford Masonic Lodge #246, located in Rockford Michigan, has donated $3,000 to two (2) graduating seniors at Rockford High School.

Avrill Timmer and Evelyn Schwander (pictures attached) will each receive $1,500 dollars toward the cost of their higher education.

Funding for this program is provided by the Rockford Masonic Lodge #246, located at 1430 Northland Dr. NE, and the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation, a program of the the Grand Lodge of Michigan Masons.

This annual scholarship program was established by Lodge Master Barney Hunt to assist high school seniors with expenses related to their higher education goals

Rockford Masonic Lodge #246 donates to Rockford Area Museum
with funds provided by the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation

Rockford, Michigan, April 30, 2026. -The Rockford Masonic Lodge #246, located in Rockford Michigan, has donated $900. to the Rockford Area Museum to enhance their historical exhibits of the Rockford area.

The Rockford Masonic Lodge is a fraternity of men who raise money to fund various charitable causes that better our community. Organizations in the past have included the Boy Scouts of America and North Kent Connect.

“The Rockford Area Museum has done an excellent job at promoting and interpreting the history of the City of Rockford and it‘s adjacent areas, and we know that this small donation will go a long way toward their continued success.“ said Ryan Hardy, the current Master of the Rockford Masonic Lodge,
