To promote and advance the sport of archery

WMAC Mission: “To promote and advance the sport of archery by providing education, competition, and
recreation opportunities for individuals, families and the community.”

This past week finished up our first Intro to Archery session of the season. It was great to work with such enthusiastic people and share our passion of archery with them! We still have some spots available in the fall if you're interested in giving archery a try!

Each year a great group of people at WMAC put on a tournament that benefits a local group that supports the community... This year we support Tapestry Rockford, a volunteer group aimed at making sure every kid has clothing, athletic gear and essentials so every child can show up confident--inside and out.
This is a non sanctioned event that promotes all ages, skill levels and bow types....everything from olympic recurve to the hunting compound with fixed pin sights.
It is a excellent event to dip your toes in the for the first time!
Come join us and support a great cause!

The Power of Volunteering

West Michigan Archery Center (WMAC) isn’t just a place to shoot arrows, it’s a community built by the people who care enough to give their time, talents, and energy.

Every target that gets repaired, every trail that gets cleared, every event that runs smoothly, every new archer who feels welcomed, and every improvement you see around the club is possible because someone volunteered.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of this club.

Whether it’s helping with workdays, serving on a committee, assisting at events, maintaining ranges, fundraising, teaching, or simply lending a hand when needed, every contribution matters. No amount of time is too small. Even a few hours can make a huge difference.

As our club continues to grow, so does the need for members willing to step up and help. The more volunteers we have, the more opportunities we can create, the better we can maintain our facilities, and the stronger our archery community becomes.

❤️ Volunteering isn’t just about giving back—it’s about being part of something bigger than yourself. It’s about creating a club that future generations of archers will be proud to call home.

If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved, this is your sign. We need fresh ideas, helping hands, and members who want to make a difference.

Together, we can keep WMAC a thriving, growing, and hitting the mark for years to come.

🏹 Many hands make light work, and every volunteer helps us aim higher.

Drop a 🙋 in the comments if you’d be interested in helping with future projects, events, committees, or workdays.

WMAC would like to give a huge thank you to LIFE for coming out and providing CPR training for our volunteers and coaches.
At WMAC, we are committed to more than just archery, we are committed to the safety and well-being of everyone who walks through our doors. Learning CPR gives our team the knowledge and confidence to step in and help save lives when every second counts.
Thank you again to LIFE for sharing your time, training, and expertise with us. We appreciate the opportunity to continue making WMAC a safer place for our athletes, families, and community.
