Shot the Michigan S3DA State Championships yesterday and quickly realized my sight tapes were off past 25 yards. The closest range to our house only goes out to 27 yards, and even though I had practiced up to 40 yards before Salt Lake Summit, I was hitting low the first few targets.

After some head scratching, I started aiming at the bottom of the middle ring to catch the lower 12 and finished strong with 5 total 12s. It was definitely a struggle, and my scores reflected it, but I stayed focused, pushed through, and still secured the top spot.

3D season is officially done! Now, it’s time to fully focus to outdoor target. Congrats to all the podium finishers and thank you Coach Devin and to West Michigan Archery Center S3DA team for a strong 3D showing!
