Regent Fans‼️

It’s time to welcome in some new additions to the program‼️

We’ll start off by introducing the new additions to both the Regent Cross Country AND Track and Field teams and up first we have Rockford Native Jernise Ellis‼️

Please give Jernise a warm welcome! We’re looking forward to getting to work here in a few weeks with Cross Country season and see what she can do‼️

And with that the 25-26 Cross Country and Track & Field seasons come to an end.

Cross Country had a fantastic season once again with a record being set and team placements at conference.

Plus Track & Field made its return since the 2018-2019 season and what a season it was. Multiple records were broken throughout the indoor and outdoor season.

Both teams are still growing and will be training hard over this summer break. See you next year Regents!

Over the weekend your Regents competed at the NACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. It was another record setting weekend for the Regents! During the meet Haylee West broke the outdoor school record in the 3000 meter Steeplechase with a run of 13:09.96.‼️

Haylee broke the previous school record of 13:11.79 set by Ashley Eggert from 2011. This performance was the culmination of a whole season of hard work for Haylee. This record also consisted of a massive 35 SECOND PR from Haylee to finish 6th at the conference meet scoring some crucial points for the team‼️This run is the definition of saving your best race for the biggest meet. There is no doubt that Haylee will continue to rewrite the Rockford record books‼️

Over the weekend your Regents competed at the NACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. It was another record setting weekend for the Regents! During the meet Mariah Williams broke the outdoor school record in AGAIN in the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash with runs of 12.84 seconds and 26.30 seconds respectively.‼️

Mariah broke her own previous school record of 12.90 in the 100 and 26.71 in the 200. This performance was the culmination of a whole season of hard work for Mariah. She ended her Freshman year scoring in FOUR events at the Conference meet.‼️There is no doubt that she will continue to rewrite the Rockford record books in the jumps AND the sprints‼️

Congratulations Mariah, the sky is the limit‼️

Meet Day‼️

Regents Fans, it’s CONFERENCE MEET DAY!! Your Regents travel to Wisconsin Lutheran College to compete in the NACC Outdoor Championships in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for our fifth outdoor meet of the season‼️

We are hoping to keep the momentum going from the whole outdoor season and are looking forward to some great record breaking performances. Let’s end the year off with a BANG‼️

Over the weekend your Regents competed in the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative at UW-Whitewater. It was another record setting weekend for the Regents! During the meet Mariah Williams broke the outdoor school record in NOT ONLY the triple jump, but the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash as well with a jump of 10.65 meters and runs of 12.90 seconds and 26.71 seconds respectively‼️‼️

Mariah broke her own previous school record of 10.30 meters in the triple jump and the previous school records of 12.95 in the 100 meters, and 27.19 in the 200 meters held by Dani Buttel and Jamie Buechner!! This performance was the culmination of a whole season of hard work for Mariah and there is no doubt that she will continue to rewrite the Rockford record books in the jumps AND the sprints‼️

Over the weekend your Regents competed in the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative at UW-Whitewater. It was another record setting weekend for the Regents! During the meet Anthony Joyner broke the outdoor school record in the Shot Put with a throw of 14.53 meters‼️

Anthony broke the previous school record of 14.20 meters held by Tommy Brown!! This performance was a long time coming for Anthony and there is no doubt that he will continue to rewrite the Rockford record books‼️
