The Rock Valley College Bowling Team is excited to invite golfers, bowlers, community members, businesses, and supporters to participate in the 2026 Bowl815 Golf Playday, a fun-filled day of golf that directly supports the continued growth and success of Rock Valley College Bowling.

This year's event will take place on Friday, June 26, 2026, at beautiful Swan Hills Golf Course in Belvidere, Illinois, and will feature great golf, food, prizes, contests, sponsorship opportunities, and a chance to win $10,000 with a Hole-In-One!

The Cherry Bowl Announces Adult/Youth Summer Bowling League – A Fun, Family-Focused Opportunity for All Skill Levels

Rockford, IL — The Cherry Bowl is excited to announce its upcoming Adult/Youth Summer Bowling League, offering a unique opportunity for families and young bowlers to team up, compete, and create lasting memories this summer. The 12-week league is set to begin on Wednesday, May 27th, and is designed to combine fun, skill development, and rewarding competition.

The league will take place at The Cherry Bowl, 7171 Cherryvale North Blvd, Rockford, Illinois, with weekly sessions held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM, with practice beginning at 6:15 PM. Each team will consist of two bowlers—one adult (18 and over) and one youth, making it an ideal setting for parents, mentors, and young athletes to participate together.

Participation is $20 per person per week, with added incentives for both divisions. Adult participants will compete for cash prizes, while youth bowlers will earn scholarship funds through the USBC SMART Program, reinforcing both the competitive and developmental aspects of the league.

As an added bonus, new league bowlers are eligible to receive a FREE bowling ball (a $100 value), which includes professional fitting and drilling. This offer applies to individuals who have not bowled in a league within the past four years. Youth participants who have only bowled in a middle school program during that time remain eligible.

The league emphasizes accessibility and flexibility, featuring:

100% of 200 handicap scoring, ensuring a fair and competitive environment for all skill levels
Pre- and post-bowling options, allowing participants to maintain their schedule if they miss a session
USBC certification, providing an officially recognized league experience
A weekly strike pot, adding excitement and additional prize opportunities

Space is limited, with registration capped at the first 32 teams, so early sign-up is strongly encouraged.
