Sadly today (8/9) is one of those days where we'll need to keep a close eye on things.
However, we are going to try to stay open/spin as much as we are able to!
STORMY AT TIMES: Good Sunday morning, all! While our weekend got off to a positively PERFECT start Saturday, things could be a bit more tumultuous today.
We're tracking an incoming complex of storms still several hours to our northwest at this hour, which remains on track to arrive sometime between 9:00 and noon. As mentioned in an earlier post, the severe threat with these is generally low.
More storms remain likely to fire late this afternoon or early this evening. These will be storms I have a bit more concern about, given the fact we're really going to ramp up the humidity as the day progresses.
Gusty winds are to be our main severe weather threat with any storms later on today, though hail, torrential downpours, and even a brief tornado are not off the table.
I'll be keeping close tabs on things as the day goes on, and will pass along updates as pertinent information becomes available.
