With less than a week away until belt testing, we will be working on sparring, forms and self defense in all classes today! Please bring your full sparring gear, bo, nunchaks, or kamas.

This is the last day to make any changes to the belt testing schedule. Please see the front desk to make any changes.
Don't forget to turn in your "To Do" list by today end of classes. Student that have turned in the past 3 months of list will receive their star patches next week.

We have the following events coming up:
- Back To School Saturday Fall 2026 Open House Class on Saturday September 12th at 12:00 P.M. for ages 4-6 and 12:45 P.M. for ages 7 and above.
- 4th Annual South Shore Junior Classic Martial Arts Tournament on Saturday September 19th. Today is the last day to sign up. This tournament will involve other local school in the area and will have board breaking, forms, weapons, and point sparring and Tae Kwon Do sparring. - Back To School Moms Charcutier Night at South Shore Tae Kwon Do on Friday September 25th at 6:00 P.M. This is a fun way for the moms to get together without the kids to celebrate back to school and learn self defense. You may register online at www.southshoretkd.com/events

Students and parents!!

Don't forget we have a few events this weekend starting this after.
- First up we have our Back To School Friday Fall 2026 Open House Class today at 4:30-5:00 P.M. for 4-6 year olds and 5:15-5:45 P.M. for ages 7 and above. These FREE classes are for anyone that would like to try a class without any other obligation. No prior martial arts experience is required just drop in and please wear comfortable workout clothes.
- Next is our annual 2026 Back to School Pizza Party for the students and their immediate family member. Come in and grab a slice and meet with some of the instructors and fellow students you don't normally meet. Doors open tonight at 6:00 P.M. and goes till 6:45 P.M. Please wear regular street clothes, no uniforms. Parents must accompany the students, this is not a drop-off event.
- Lastly we have our Back To School Saturday Fall 2026 Open House Class tomorrow at 12:00-12:30 P.M. for 4-6 year olds and 12:45-1:15 P.M. for ages 7 and above. Today is a day of remembrance for many. Many of us remember 25 years ago as if it was just yesterday. Some of us know people that were either on the planes or in their offices that day that are no longer with us. For those that are first responders, you know what it is like to go into a situation that many are running from. Let's take today to remember those lost, but also how we as a nation persevered.
