Attachments can be like weeds.

If we’re not careful, they start to spread and take over our mind, time and energy. It’s so important to be aware of what we plant in our consciousness because they can take root very quickly.

That’s a big part of what we will be learning about in our 7-week online course called “Anatomy of a Crush”. Among the many discussions, we will focus on how to avoid growing attachments that don’t serve us and what to do if they have already taken root.

If you’d like to learn how to avoid cultivating unwanted attachments, please join us. Drop PLANT below to receive more details or check out the link in bio. Here’s to reclaiming back our time and energy.

The bud comes before the blossom. Similarly, there is a step before we become attached to anything.

We will be exploring all the steps of how we become attached and what typically happens when we do. And similar to this beautiful blossom, we will also learn how to redirect our attachments so they help elevate us, instead of causing us unnecessary suffering. We start exploring this exact process as detailed in the yoga texts starting April 29th in the 7 week online “Anatomy of a Crush” course.

Curious to learn more? Drop BUD below. Happy to share more!

Want to reduce the amount of suffering in your life?

Understanding the process by which we start to become attached is the key to stopping a lot of unnecessary suffering in our lives.

Over the last ten years, I have shared and broken down this process to hundreds of students and the consistent feedback has been “I wish we could spend more time going deeper into this. It’s the most applicable piece of wisdom I’ve learned!”

This offering is in service to that request.

WHAT TO EXPECT (A SMALL GLIMPSE. THERE’S MORE!):

1) Learn the anatomy (different phases) that arise before we become attached, and after.
2) Learn how to discern which phase you are in and develop greater ability to control what you become attached to. This awareness can bring forth so much clarity and relief.
3) You may have heard that attachment leads to suffering. We’ll explore which types of attachment lead to suffering and which can actually elevate our consciousness.
4) Learn how we can work with our attachment and its effects on us without becoming reactive and invoking more unnecessary suffering.
5) Diving into the fundamentals of yoga psychology and how the mind works.
6) A warm, supportive environment with like-minded individuals. All classes will be recorded and made accessible. A private WhatsApp group will be created to provide an ongoing space to ask questions and share reflections between classes.

WHEN: 7 consecutive Wednesdays starting April 29th on Zoom from 7:00-8:15pm EST
**All sessions will be recorded and shared, in case anyone misses any sessions or would like to go back and rewatch it.

INVESTMENT: $250 USD through Zelle/Venmo

INTRODUCING….something very near and dear to my heart.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved mantras and singing. For a long time now, I’ve been wanting to share them in a way that’s meaningful and relevant because Sanskrit mantras are like powerful sound capsules. They have the incredible ability to elevate consciousness, improve memory and help ground us.

For years, I’ve met so many people who have wanted to recite and sing Sanskrit verses/mantras but feel shy, are unsure of pronunciation and/or just haven’t found a space to practice.

Bhakti by Heart is a 4 month course that offers a supportive space to learn Sanskrit mantras/verses together in community. No prior Sanskrit knowledge needed! We will learn one mantra/verse a week, practice it together, learn its meaning and discuss the practical application of its wisdom in our lives. A private WhatsApp group will help support your learning between classes.

This course is for you if you’d like to:

1) Improve your memory and learn in community.
2) Deepen your understanding of yoga philosophy and sound healing.
3) Learn how to practically apply timeless wisdom in your life to strengthen and ground you.
5) Derive inspiration to offer dharma talks
6) Be able to recite 16 Sanskrit verses in 4 short months (without any help)!

We begin Wednesday October 8th and will meet weekly on Zoom (every Wednesday) from 7:30-8:30pm EST.

To make this accessible as possible, the price per month is $100.

DON’T MISS THIS!

Please join me on Saturday, May 3rd for a day-long yoga nidra training !

Ever since I had the opportunity to experience and learn yoga nidra from my teacher over 8 years ago, I have become its biggest fan!

The two biggest reasons are because the benefits are enormous and it’s accessible to everyone. For those just beginning their sitting meditation practice, I encourage them to either start with yoga nidra and/or add it to their sitting practice.

In this training we will be learning about the sequencing behind yoga nidra (and most importantly the reason behind the order), its benefits, practicing doing a small sequence on each other AND experiencing it ourselves!

Whether you are a yoga teacher who wants to add yoga nidra to your teaching or want to learn this incredible practice for yourself, this is open to everyone! Secure your spot today by going to or clicking the link in my bio.

Two yoga wisdom classes this week!

Join me this Thursday, Saturday (or both!) as we dive deeper into the teachings of the Gita and Yoga Sutras.

This Thursday will be the start of a recurring bi-weekly yoga philosophy class where we will explore different themes and topics like karma, ego, attachment and suffering. We will learn what the yoga texts share on these topics and explore how to practically apply their wisdom in our life. For our first class, we will share more on the events that led up to the Gita being spoken (and why it was spoken).

On Saturday, we will gather for a special workshop on cleansing the heart. We will specifically dive into how the ego affects our ability to access our heart, engage in self-study and learn 3 ways we can begin the process of cleaning the heart.

Both events will be taking place in person and online.

Tag a friend who might be interested and drop any questions in the comments or feel free to DM me! Hope to see you at one or both!

Ever feel like you don’t know who or what you can trust?

Welcome to my world as an Enneagram 6. My greatest fear is not knowing if I have the ability to make decisions with the information I have. After all, how do I know if I have all the information I need? Or, how do I know I can see clearly enough to make the decision even if I have all the information?!

The self-doubt I experience internally is what I also experience externally when people, environments, organizations and the world aren’t living up to what they say.

I innately recognize that this world is temporary and am seeking permanent shelter and support. My work is in recognizing that while the above is true (the world is temporary), I still have access to tap into my inner guidance/inner knowing. To access it requires me to still all the whirling thoughts and doubts. When I’m unable to do so, that’s when I can exhibit reactivity.

Tag a friend (or drop a ✋🏼) if you’re an Enneagram 6 or can resonate with this energy.

Have you been wanting to dive deeper into the Enneagram and/or the Yoga Sutras and Gita in community with others? Join us!

For awhile now, I’ve been wondering how best to create spaces to learn, discuss and assimilate the work of becoming a more grounded, regulated and increasingly aware individual. Although I myself am still a huge work in progress, I’ve found the:

1. Enneagram, and
2. Bhagavad Gita/Yoga Sutras

to be extremely helpful in this process. So much of our reactivity and suffering come from our unconscious narratives, emotions and habits. Bringing those to the surface and learning what to do with that information is best done in community and through discussion.

I’ll be offering two different online groups- one focused on the Enneagram and the other on the Bhagavad Gita and Yoga Sutras.

If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, I’ll be sharing more details on what we’ll be discussing in these groups in the next few weeks.
